Title: CISC Latin and Classics Network – Inaugural Meeting
Date: Monday 9 November 2026 Time: 4.00–5.00pm
Location: Online via Zoom Cost: Free to CISC member schools
Main description:
We are delighted to launch the new CISC Latin and Classics Network, bringing together teachers and subject leaders from across CISC schools with an interest in Latin, Classics and Classical Civilisation.
The network will provide a forum for colleagues to connect across schools, share expertise and resources, discuss curriculum and teaching approaches, and explore opportunities for greater collaboration.
Within our Catholic schools, the classical tradition also offers particularly rich opportunities to explore the relationship between language, literature, history, philosophy, culture and the Catholic intellectual tradition.
This inaugural meeting will provide an opportunity for colleagues to meet one another and, importantly, to help shape the future direction and priorities of the network.
Who is it for? Heads of Classics, Heads of Latin, teachers of Latin, Classics and Classical Civilisation, and other interested colleagues in CISC member schools
Format: Online via Zoom
Cost: Free to CISC member schools
