We are seeking a well-qualified teacher to lead the Politics provision across the School from Years 5-13. This is an excellent opportunity for career development in one of the largest co-educational independent schools in the UK. The successful candidate will be able to teach Politics to A Level. They will inspire students with a passion for Politics through both the curriculum and the co-curriculum.
A Level Politics is an established and extremely popular option at New Hall, regularly attracting the highest uptake of all A Level subjects. With almost 70 students studying the subject, the Department is one of the largest A Level Politics departments in the UK. Students have the opportunity to participate in Model United Nations, and weekly debating competitions. The School also launched a new initiative in 2023; its bespoke UAS Politics literacy course for Year 10 GCSE cohorts, accredited by AQA.
