CISC 31st Virtual Annual Conference
18-19 March 2021
To Grow is to Change
in the spirit of St John Henry Newman
We have great pleasure in unveiling details of our first ever CISC Virtual Conference 2021 – ‘To Grow is to Change’. This quotation from St John Henry Newman gives us much to explore both spiritually and practically and we’re thrilled that the Conference will be opened by my former colleague Prof. Mgr. Rod Strange, renowned and highly regarded biographer of St John Henry Newman.
Commentary on the pastoral challenges of our times will be initiated and explored by guest speakers David Wells, Sr Gemma Simmonds and Philip Robinson and operational concerns and opportunities will be discussed in a ‘round table’ conversation with Stone King, Moore Kingston Smith and CISC heads.
In order to glean the most from the virtual experience, the format of the conference is ‘little and often’ with sessions lasting no longer than 90 minutes and a variety of presentation styles. And no CISC Conference would be complete without an evening soirée – an opportunity to raise a ‘real’ glass ‘virtually’ and come together to share the spirit of CISC. Unfortunately – or perhaps fortunately?!! – it’s unlikely we’ll be able to manage our usual sing-a-long….but you never know!
The Conference sessions, with the exception of the AGM, are open to all interested members of your schools – bursars, chaplains, Heads of RS, members of your SLT, governors – and will be live-streamed and available for viewing after the Conference.
The cost will be £125 per school, which includes access for as many participants as you wish and conference resources for the main delegate. To register, please complete the booking form below.
