Bishop Hudson Visits St. Mary’s Hampstead
We were honoured and privileged to welcome Bishop Nicholas Hudson to St Mary’s School Hampstead on Tuesday 24th January. Bishop Nicholas was ordained Auxiliary Bishop for the Diocese of Westminster in June 2014 and has responsibility for the pastoral care of Central and East London.
The Bishop was particularly impressed that his tour of the School was led by Year 6 pupils and was touched to hear how much they will miss it when they leave at the end of the year. He also enjoyed meeting the School’s new starters in Nursery and hearing about how the children were celebrating Mary Ward week.
Mrs Connor-Earl commented,
“We were delighted that Bishop Nicholas visited St Mary’s School this week. The visit was a fantastic opportunity to showcase everyone’s hard work and share news about our new initiatives such as The After School Club. We thank him for supporting St Mary’s School and for the time he dedicated to the pupils and staff. It was a truly memorable and inspiring occasion that the whole School will remember for a long time.”
